Thank you for your unwavering support for the fight to preserve Shaw University.

Your dedication to preserving the essence of Shaw University while calling for transparency and its surrounding neighborhood has not gone unnoticed. We appreciate your efforts in signing the petition and raising your voices against those who will destroy what we hold dear.

Unfortunately, despite our collective efforts, the rezoning of Shaw University was voted in favor by a few individuals who placed their personal interests above the needs of the community. We are extremely disappointed in their decision and will continue to fight for transparency, accountability, and justice in our local government. The manner in which this all happened was nothing short of unjust.
